Some of you may know (but most of you may not) that I got a new job. It happened kind of quickly, especially amidst going on vacation and the new semester starting. But as of tomorrow, I will the Assistant Director of Chapel and Compassion Ministries at CBU. My new boss will be Brett Vowell, and that in itself is a huge blessing. It is a new position on campus, so I am not sure what the day-to-day will look like, but I am hoping to help train and involve more students with local outreach as well as assist with chapel.
It is hard to say how I am feeling because I am part sad and part thrilled. My time in Admissions has taught me a lot professionally and personally, and the people are amazing. However I am so excited for the new responsibilities, opportunities, and challenges ahead. The Lord is totally in control, which has given me peace through this entire process.
Brett is one of the most thoughtful people I know, and he got me this adorable calendar for Christmas. I am sure 2012 will be full of new lessons!

Today I turn 25, which makes me feel very adult. Having a Saturday birthday has been really nice, but the best part is getting so many thoughtful and sweet encouragements from people I love. I have been gifted two amazing videos this far. This one is a treat from one of my favorite people- Logan Hofschroer!
